About our yarns
All the yarns listed here are commercially spun at farmer friendly wool mills.  Directly from the sheep raised on the farm.  We use no dyes, only the natural color of the sheep.  The sheep are crosses of Border Leicester, Dorset, Scottish Blackface and Corriedale.  We breed for meat as well as quality fleece.

   This yarn has been commercially washed and spun with vegetable based soap/oil
in order to be more environmentally friendly; a vital change to accommodate the
environmentally sensitive customer.
